INTRODUCTION
After the 2011 Christchurch earthquake, the Christchurch Arts Centre needed extensive structural repairs. Fletcher construction were contracted for a major part of this exercise. We were commissioned by Fletcher to question the logic of the programme as dictated by the structural engineers.
